I am still amazed at what I see people going through. Thinking that they must take a medication because a medical professional told them to do so.
Now, don't get me wrong.
I applaud the medical community especially when people's lives are in danger because of a car accident or other medical emergencies.
Of course we need them to help us in certain life saving situations.
What I am talking about is what WE DO to ourselves on a daily basis.
The wrong food we eat.
And most of the time we are just not aware of it.
The wrong types of foods we are putting into our body.
Some people have to go to the doctor's office for the common cold or the emergency room, being given band aids for problems while we get worse instead of getting better.
One day, because I had non-stop vomiting, I had to go to my local hospital ER to get help for Crohn's Disease.
Sounds familiar right?
After I recovered at home, I questioned my daily life.
What was I doing wrong? The answers started coming to my mind.
I was not eating right or drinking right. I was not eating a plant based diet like I should have, but an animal based diet.
The moment I started to eat a plant-based diet, a.k.a. the Vegan Diet, the benefits I got started to roll in. No more colds. Yeah. I really loved that one a lot!
Oh and by the way, my skin looks healthier and younger too. I'm 52 and my son told me I looked 10 years younger! That made me feel great. You just feel better inside you. Your stamina is revived. I feel like I'm 21 again.
Here's an astonishing fact. For years I suffered with depression. I couldn't get it under control. It just dominated me for a long time.
However, ever since using the Vegan Diet, the depression is virtually gone. I even asked my wife if she noticed a difference in me, and she said a big difference.
No more fatigued and sad all the time! This diet increases your mental stability too. Great for those who suffer from ADD or ADHD as well.
Doing What's Right
We look in the wrong places for treatment for this disease.
In fact, we could literally stop most of what makes us sick, if we would just simply eat right.
Unfortunately, many people just don't understand this, but you can literally recreate your own healthy digestion.
Please understand that there are those of us who do not want to hear this and think that it's going to be too hard.
This is simply not true.
Fast food restaurants can't beat fresh, hand made simple food made at home without the use of a microwave oven.
This machine actually alters the nutrients in your food.
It's a proven fact by science and many others.
My family and I don't even use it, instead we use it for storage.
Check it out for yourself at bookstores or do a Google search about it.
All the information is right there.
You will be shocked as I was at what the microwave oven was originally used for!
Eating a lot of candy and drinking a lot of soda is NOT good either.
Remember, I was one of them.
I ate and drank tons of the stuff.
So, I really have my fingers pointing at myself as well.
It took a lot of hard work to retrain my mind to eat right.
And by using the Vegan Diet every day – it was just like falling off a log…easier each day.
However – you really can destroy Crohn's Disease like I did.
It truly is a shame that we are not taught the RIGHT WAY to eat from birth.
Oh yes our parents tried to feed us the best they could using the four basic food groups.
However, it is the combinations and types of food that make a difference.
Especially now in this information age, we have You Tube and Google, etc. to investigate how to do it right.
So, there really is no excuse.
My father used to tell me when I was a boy, "Stevie, do it right or don't do it at all."
Excellent advice Dad.
I sure wished I had applied that to my food choices earlier on in my life.
I could have saved myself a heap of unnecessary trouble and pain.
Pay Attention To Your Body
I grew up eating everything you could think of.
And that's how I paid a gigantic price. By having to DIE in an ambulance and getting shocked back to life by EMT's, with my 12 year old son in the ambulance who saw the whole thing!
That really wasn't necessary.
As I look back on it, sorry to say it, I didn't think about what I was doing to myself.
We need to pay attention to what we are eating.
Don't just put anything into your mouth because it smells or tastes good.
We humans are so addicted to taste and spices that it is too much.
No wonder the stomach reacts the way that it does.
You can stop the stomach pain before it happens.
Examine the food.
Read every nutritional label on the back of every box and package.
Ask yourself, what kind of high quality nutrition is going into my body?
Will this food help my body grow and fight off sickness?
If you are not sure about a food item - tell yourself this…"If man made it, don't eat it."
Educate yourself, friend.
Let your mind soak up more and more ways to increase the nutritional level in your body.
Then you will reap the huge benefits of proper health.
